The 2024 election season is already underway, with democracy in action across the country, notes the Indian American Impact Fund, a leading PAC dedicated to supporting candidates of Indian and South Asian origin.
On April 9, the organization announced a slew of candidates it plans to support. The latest list of 11 individuals of Indian origin, includes those aiming for a range of offices from courts to State Senate seats.
“While you may think of primaries as it pertains to a presidential election, it’s crucially important to think about state and local races which can profoundly impact your daily life,” Impact Fund said in a press release, calling on Indian Americans to stay up to date on some states where primaries for state and local candidates coincide with the presidential primary, and others that have separate primaries.

The additional 11 candidates brings Impact Fund’s total endorsements to 35 so far this cycle. “South Asian candidates are making history across the country in 2024,” Impact Fund declared.
