India’s Consulate in New York hosted a year-end gathering for journalists at a reception December 19. It was Consul General Binaya Srikanta Pradhan’s first such event after taking over the office. The Media Reception, themed “A Year-End Rendezvous’ saw scores of media persons co-mingling and a buzz of multiple conversations among the attendees made it a lively event.
“The evening was filled with engaging conversations, meaningful connections, and a strong sense of camaraderie. Thank you to all who joined us in the celebration,” @IndiainNewYork said on its X website, including numerous photos from the event.

Consul General Pradhan thanked the media for its involvement in events and issues of concern to India as well as the reportage on those. He thanked them for being engaged with the activities of the Consulate, adding that he looked forward to a 2025 that would promise the same kind of interaction.

The CG also thanked his own colleagues, Deputy CG Varun Jeph, and Consul for Press and Culture Shruti Pandey, who also conducted the whole event.
DCG Jeph thanked all those who attended and invited them to enjoy the dinner served.
