The Indian Consulate in New York City, in collaboration with Salon De Virtuosi, recently held a musical concert entitled, East Meets West.
The program, held May 29, brought together Indian classical maestros Pandit Kushal Das (Sitar) and Samir Chatterjee (Tabla) with the Western ensemble, The Dolphins. “A soulful blend of traditions, the performance celebrated the seamless harmony between Eastern and Western musical styles,” the Indian Consulate said in its post on X.
