Independence Day ceremonies held at Indian Missions in New York

Close to 100 guests attended the flag hoisting ceremonies for India’s Independence Day celebrations on Aug. 15 morning at the Indian Consulate and the Indian Permanent Mission in New York City.

Consul General Sandeep Chakravorty officiated at the Consulate and Permanent Representative for India at the United Nations Syed Akbaruddin presided over the ceremony at the Permanent Mission.
