Hundreds attend Navratri celebration hosted by Kadva Patidar Samaj of Chicago

The Kadva Patidar Samaj of Chicago hosted a Navratri event at the Fountain View Recreation Center, Carol Stream, IL – on September 28, 2024.

It was attended by more than 900 members and supporters, according to a press release.
Mandap decoration by Heena Patel, Asha Patel, Falguni Patel, Jigna Patel, Asha Patel, Rutu Patel.

The festivities showcased Gujarati culture and facets of the celebration, featuring the Shree Ambe Maa & Umiya Mataji ni Aartis, 3 tali & 2 tali Garbas, Raas Garba, and Sanedo performed by DJ Ujwal and his team.

Decorations covered the venue and food was available from Tasty Bites USA.

The success of the event was made possible through the generous contributions of Mitha & Jayanti‘s family (Orland Park) and Jitu and Meena Patel (Indiana), organizers said. Volunteers were thanked for their dedicated services to the organizations and for the event.
