The US Junior League, a destination for T20 cricket in the USA, that aims to nurture future young cricketers aged 18-20, recently concluded the 2024 Inaugural season a six-team competition. It also sent out a call for new player registrations for the US Junior.
The US Junior league is accepting new player registrations because of the planned expansion of league. With the twelve teams this year, 2025 season 2 promises more excitement as six new teams join league, organizers said in a press release.
The US Junior league set up an Advisory Board during the off season, with the addition of M.S.K Prasad, a former international player, chief selector of the Indian National Cricket Team, who has served in various roles related to cricket, such as ‘Director – Talent Search and Academies’ for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
Another advisor is Jatin Patel, a Cricket Hall of Famer with a Lifetime Achievement Award and USA Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, is a multi-sport coach, mentor, administrator, and Professional Performance Analyst. He has played key roles in cricket development in the USA and globally, serving on the Cricket Development committees and educational initiatives.
“With the twelve teams in 2025, we are expecting more participants and plan to start few more vital initiatives to help and nurture future stars of Cricket in the USA,” organizers said.
“Watch out for our new plans for USA all-star teams and their high performance training as part of our long term player development plans, Prithvi Raj Logan, founder and president USJL is quoted saying in the press release.
