Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago celebrate 2025 Karaoke Song & Talent Show

Carol Stream, IL – May 17, 2025:The Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago (BSC) hosted a joyful celebration of music, drama, and cultural heritage during their 2025 Karaoke Song and Grand Talent Show, held at the Rana Reagan Center in Carol Stream, Ill., near Chicago. More than 800 enthusiastic community members gathered for the celebration  organized by the BSC Karaoke Club.

Some 800 people attended the Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago’s celebration of a Karaoke and talent show.

Secretary of BSC Rakshika Anjaria welcomed the anchor for the evening, Bharti Desai, who was greeted by the Pushpagunch Committee Members, Jayanti Oza and Anjaria.

Talent show sponsor Dr. Prakash Shah, Haribhai Patel is seen thanking Sona Shah, Ankar Bharti Desai, Secretary Rakshika Anjaria is seen next to him.

BSC President Hari Patel inaugurated the Talent Show – Part 1 – highlighting over 40 performers who presented their talents in Bollywood music, Garba, Shaurya songs, Ghazals, Drama, Dance, and Keyboard performances.

After four hours, the program transitioned into a musical bonanza that included timeless Bollywood hits, patriotic melodies, and mini-dramas such as “Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman.”

The audience appreciated songs like “Man Tarpat Hari Darshan” from Baiju Bawra and “Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi” from Veer-Zaara which evoked emotion and nostalgia on hearing classics by legends such as Mukesh, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, and Udit Narayan.

Emcee Desai was honored with a Best Anchor Certificate by BSC President Haribhai Patel.

As a token of gratitude, each participant received a certificate of participation and a premium hot/cold beverage bottle, donated by Sona and Kanosa of the Sona Foundation  based in Wisconsin.

The success of the event was made possible through the efforts of many, including choreographer Rasila Dobaria, Jaya Bakshi, photographer Jayanti Oza, certificate team members Ramesh Rupani and Mahesh Danak, and those managing registration and technical support.
