

Yaman Arts Foundation held the Confluence For Peace musical event at the ITV Gold auditorium in New Jersey, Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023. The event was supported by Parikh Worldwide Media and the SD Group of Companies.
Young talents, junior and senior students of Shruti Sangam and Pandit Jasraj Institute along with globally reputed maestros Partha Bose and Aditya Narayan Banerjee entertained with a “sensational” sitar-tabla jugalbandi, a press release from Yaman Arts Foundation said.

Ganesh Vandana presented by students of Adyashree Lalita Mathur reflected accuracy of notes and effective co-ordination, according to the organizers.
The tabla ensemble presented by Aarav, Aryan, Sudarshan, Aryan and Amogh students of Yaman Arts Foundation NJ, under the direction of Maestro Aditya Narayan Banerjee gave an authentic rendition of Lucknow Qaida, Tukra, etc., the press release noted.
Payal, Miral, Vandana, Jinal, Suma and Kala, senior students of Jasraj Institute of Indian Music presented an Ektaal composition followed by a Tarana in Raga Saraswati.
Pranav Puranik’s violin recital in Raga Jog and Sayee Deshpande’s Miya ki Todi on harmonium was a hopeful and joyful performance.

The concluding artist, Pandit Partha Bose, accompanied by Maestro Aditya Banerjee on tabla was an exciting climax with 2 pieces – Raga Patdeep and Raga Pilu respectively.
